Giglio Island is one of the seven “pearls” of the Tuscan Archipelago, in front of Monte Argentario. With its 21 sq km of extension, it awaits you with its wonderful lndascapes: from the crystalline sea with large beaches and small and hidden coves to its pretty Medieval village, which will fascinate you with its history.
Giglio is the ideal destination for trekking lovers, being a largely mountainous territory, full of paths through the wild nature, as well as for diving enthusiasts who can explore caves, shoals and wrecks and much more.
The whole day will be dedicated to visit the southern coast of the province of Grosseto, where the promontory of Monte Argentario joines the mainland through the Tomboli of Giannella and Feniglia.
After a short stop in Orbetello, you will arrive in Porto Santo Stefano, where you will take the boat to Giglio Island (transfer duration: about 1 hour).
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Campese.

Meeting with the guide for a 4-hour trekking from Giglio Campese to Giglio Castello: visit of the ancient medieval village; lunch in restaurant, fish menu.

Departure for a dinghy excursion around the island: you will admire the beauty of several hidden coves (Spiaggia delle Caldane, Cala delle Cannelle, Cala del Morto) and observe the local avifauna.
Return to Campese and transfer to Giglio Porto to sail back to Porto Santo Stefano.
