Free time for a short walk: at the end of the promenade, you will arrive at Piazza dei Rioni, with its bars and restaurants overlooking the sea. Through the alleys and several stairways of the historic center, you will reach the Spanish Fortress, an example of Spanish military architecture, built in the XVIIth century.

Return to the hotel and overnight.

Full day dedicated to visit of Giglio: this is the second largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago and it is known for its imposing granite rocks, the suggestive medieval castle and the stunning coves and sandy beaches.

Early in the morning you will board on the motorboat and arrive in Giglio Island after one hour. Here you can take a tour by bus or by private taxi, stopping by at the Bay of Campese and at the Castle to discover the ancient medieval village and have lunch in one of the several restaurants that offer delicious fish menus. In the afternoon, return to Porto S. Stefano and then back to the hotel.

The whole day will be focused on the southernmost area of Maremma: you will first visit the Tarot Garden, an art park created by the contemporary Swiss artist Niki de Saint Phalle: inspired by the work of Gaudì in Barcelona, she created steel and concrete huge sculptures, covered with thousand coloured ceramics, glass and mirrors. The works reproduce the 22 figures of the Major Arcana of the Tarot. You can end the morning visiting the medieval town of Capalbio which retains a particular charm, and having lunch in a typical restaurant.

In the afternoon you will head to the Alberese area to visit the Maremma Natural Park: this territory is characterized by the variety and richness of its natural environments, extended for about 100 sq km. To visit the park you can choose among several paths differing from duration and difficulty. The itineraries can be tackled individually, in groups and with a guide and it is possible to go by horse, carriage, by bicycle or canoe. The visit is an incredible experience immersed in an enveloping nature between colors, scents and birdsong.
